- I have said for a long time - though politically incorrect - and this is a prime example - I think Israel has a great example - everyone coming out of high school is required to serve two years in the military - regardless of social class, financial, or political background.

- If our Founding Fathers could have known how the Constitution that they wrote and adopted has been so twisted from their original ideas and where this country is heading today as a result of that twisting they would probably have told England to keep it.

- I understand the argument about safety, as a retired police officer, 31 years on the streets, and an accident reconstruction expert I have seen both sides of the problem many times. My problem with the law is I don't like someone "putting a gun to my head" forcing me to wear a seat belt.

- I agree that things aren't good - I am just getting tired of both sides continually in a mutual blaming contest over this problem - especially when the election isn't even over yet and I have already started to hear posturing for the 2012 election.
